Video Studio at the Health Sciences Library

The Video Studio at the Health Sciences Library is a recording space designed for faculty, staff, and students to produce high-quality video content. Whether you are rehearsing for a class presentation or recording a podcast, the Video Studio makes recording fast and easy.

The Video Studio should be reserved using the online calendar. Once reserved, check out the studio key at the Service Desk with your VCU ID. This space is available during library hours and opens and closes 30 minutes from opening/closing time. Users may reserve the studio for up to 4 hours per day and 12 hours per week.

This is a self-service space, but some staff assistance may be possible depending on availability.

Green Screen, Revolution Lightboard

Available software: Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Audition, AfterEffects, Encoder), Open Broadcast Software, iMovie
