Relive A Night in Mr. Cabell's Richmond

Description

Sounds of jazz wafted onto the usually quiet third floor April 16 for A Night in Mr. Cabell’s Richmond. More than 100 supporters of VCU Libraries enjoyed an evening inspired by the 1920s, an era of speakeasies, progressive ideas such as voting rights for women, the music and dance styles of the Jazz Age, front-page literary scandals (like the censorship of James Branch Cabell’s book) and the early years of the university.

Relive this festive night that benefited scholarships for VCU students through Aug. 15.
